The Kinetis KL8x MCU family from NXP expands the Kinetis MCU portfolio with rich security features including tamper detection, true random number generator, and low-power trusted crypto engine supporting AES, DES, 3DES, SHA, RSA, and ECC. These advancements are done while maintaining a high level of compatibility with previous Kinetis devices. The Kinetis L series is supported by a comprehensive set of development tools, software, and enablement.
