LITIX automotive LED driver ICs from Infineon use a constant-current regulator that enables stable brightness over the whole automotive temperature and voltage range. LITIX offers full protection and will protect itself against overstress caused by voltage spikes or over temperature. Additionally, derivatives out of the LITIX family provide diagnostic functionality of open and shorted LEDs as well. These features are required for harsh automotive conditions.

LITIX Basic are optimized for the control of low to medium power LEDs in automotive applications. The whole family of linear, constant-current sources offers footprint compatibility ranging from one to three output channels and 60 – 180 mA as well as enabling stable and reliable LEDs.

LITIX Linear are designed to supply constant current up to 500 mA, which enables constant LED brightness and ensures extended LED life in automotive interior LED lighting as well as LED tail lights and indicating LEDs.

LED lighting solutions used as headlights are increasing in popularity. LED headlights are usually implemented using several discrete LEDs in one chain which leads to voltages up to 60 V or using less LEDs with higher currents of up to 1.5 A. Both options require DC/DC solutions to either boost, buck, or buck-boost. LITIX Power consists of DC/DC devices which are perfectly fulfilling these requirements.
