2019-09-09Received in good condition and quite soon as well through free shipping option. This is to clarify some minor details. The product is 100% working and compatible but please note it is a QMC588L chip and not a HMC5883L chip by Honeywell as supposed to Adafruit version. No harm though. It has all functions as that of HMC5883L but only a different I2C address which you may have to change in ariyumo header file for that library. Otherwise the adafruit and HMC5883L libraries won't work. So before you mistake it for a faulty chip, please take care of the above-said. Had me do a lot of debugging and googling before I found out this. I recommend Mecha_QMC5883L Library. It works like a charm. Thanks for a good deal.
