United Chemi-Con’s GPA Series lead type aluminum electrolytic capacitors are best for direct-injection engine ECU, electric power steering ECU and various other controllers. As automobiles become more electronically-controlled, aluminum electrolytic capacitors are also required to have higher heat resistance, higher voltage, and higher ripple capability. Features of the GPA series include high heat resistance and high ripple current, as well as high endurance - 3000 to 5000 hours of operation at 125°C.

Only products with rated voltage of 25 to 50 V had been launched to the market until now, but products rated 63 to 100 V have been recently added. In addition, the series guarantees high heat resistance at 150°C. The GPA series will be an ideal product for automotive applications.
