3M now offers the 95x series of 2 mm board-to-board connectors and 2 mm (shrouded) box headers for board-to-board and wire-to-board interconnect solutions. The 3M board-to-board connectors and box headers 95x series cover most typical needs for connecting in horizontal, vertical, and right angle orientations, and they provide a wide range of distances between boards when used in stacking applications. These new 95x series products significantly expand the range of 2 mm board-to-board and wire-to-board interconnect solutions offered by 3M.

The board-to-board and box header connectors 95x series are ideal for usage in high volume applications, with less stringent requirements for the number of mating cycles. At 10 µ" (microinch) gold, the product range is qualified in accordance with European requirements for IEC performance class 3.

The board-to-board 95x series product family features 17 new product categories that include pin strips and boardmount sockets, both available in 1- and 2-row surface-mount and through-hole versions. Pin counts for these products range from 2 to 80 positions, depending on the type of product.

The connector bodies are made from high temperature thermoplastic material, allowing for high temperature processing in lead-free environments up to 260°C (JEDEC J-STD-020C).
