The QM series from AVX has been designed to significantly reduce noise characteristics while providing high capacitance values and a low voltage coefficient. This makes it ideal for mobile phones, hard disk drives, and LCD panel driver circuit applications. The QM series is based on X5R temperature characteristics with temperature variation of capacitance within +15% from -55°C to +85°C. This capacitance change is non-linear. Capacitance for X5R will also vary under applied voltage and frequency.
