KEMET's high reliability T428 COTS product offers increased power dissipation and enhanced ripple current capability. Its facedown construction provides a broader, more direct path for heat to be dissipated than traditional construction.

This series was developed to provide the volumetric efficiency of a conformally coated capacitor in a pick-and-place friendly molded package. The T428 offers the highest capacitance-per-volume of any molded leadframe capacitor.

Typical applications include radar pulse and switched-mode power supply decoupling and filtering for the telecommunications, industrial, computer and defense, and aerospace industries.
