Texas Instruments' TS3USBA225 is a double-pole, triple throw (DP3T) multiplexer that includes a low-distortion audio switch, and two USB 2.0 High-Speed (480Mbps) switches in the same package. This configuration allows the system designer to use a common connector for audio and USB data. The audio switch is designed to allow audio signals to swing negatively, making this common connector configuration possible.
