Hirose's FH19SC series is a compact FFC / FPC connector that uses its 0.5 mm pitch and 0.93 mm mounted height to deliver a maximum current of 0.5 A. This flip-lock, bottom contact, ZIF connector provides simple, user-friendly operations and increased FFC / FPC retention force due to the addition of insertion guides. The body of the connector is molded and protects the contacts from accidental damage caused by the PCB below it. The space underneath the connector can be used for trace patterning. The available contact counts range from 12-32 and accept 0.3 mm thick FFC / FPC. These connectors support automatic mounting and are RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
