Phihong introduces a low-cost, 5 W, fixed-blade, USB power adapter for personal electronics. The USB wall-plug adapter measures at just 1.65 by 1.65 by 0.87 inches, weighs 3 ounces, and comes in either a black or white case. It is available in four versions for the United States, United Kingdom, continental Europe, and Australia.
Designated the PSA05X, the USB wall-plug adapter has a Level V efficiency compliant output of 5 VDC and 1 A, which is ideal for small devices with touch screens, including smartphones, tablets, e-readers, GPS, and media players. Phihong’s 5 W USB charger is equipped with over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection and has a no-load power draw of less than 0.03 W. In addition to Level V efficiency compliance, the wall-plug also features a 5-Star standby power rating, as well as regional safety approvals.
