Hirose has developed the BM14 series of FPC-to-board connectors that provides engineers with a space-saving depth of only 1.98 mm. This versatile, flexible printed circuit connector series with a pitch of 0.4 mm is available in a stacking height of 0.8 mm.

The BM14 is highly reliable with a 2-point contact and retention force and clipping contact design. There is a clear tactile click when engaged. The shock-absorbing configuration has a dimple on the contact for robustness. The self-alignment mechanism is enhanced by guidance ribs.
