The FX20 series from Hirose is a 0.5 mm pitch double-beam contact floating connector. It features a ±0.6 mm minimum floating in the X and Y directions. The double-beam contact has a self-cleaning function and is vibration resistant. The current capacity for each pin is 0.5 A. Large mating guides on the header align the connectors for easy mating. Contacts of both the header and receptacle are enclosed in the housing, giving protection against dust. The area beneath the connector is available for patterning and through-hole.
