JCK Series DC-DC Converters

JCK Series DC-DC Converters

XP Power’s JCK series is comprised of 15, 20, 30, 40 and 60 Watt models. This highly efficient series of metal-cased DC-DC converters is aimed at a broad range of telecommunications, networking and industrial applications. Available in 2" x 2" x 0.4" or 2" x 1" x 0.4", the compact convection-cooled JCK series has a high power density of up to 37.5 Watts per cubic inch and has no need for any forced air cooling, additional heat sinking or baseplate cooling.

The series accommodates a 2:1 input voltage range and includes under voltage lockout. Models are available with a 12, 24 or 48 VDC nominal input, and outputs cater for the popular voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 or 15 VDC. An output trim function allows the adjustment of output voltage of +/-10% of nominal and remote sense compensates for drops in voltage at the load.

The converter is capable of operating in most environments and across a wide range of temperatures from -40 to +85°C. Full output power is available up to +40°C without derating.

A remote on/off input provides an external control of the output and can be used to sequence start-up procedures. Overvoltage, overload and continuous short-circuit protection features are standard across the range. All models have an input to output and input/output to case isolation of 1,600 VDC.
