TFPT Series of Nickel Thin-Film Temperature Sensor

Vishay Dale's TFPT series of temperature sensors are constructed using nickel thin-film technology and present a nearly linear positive temperature coefficient (PTC) of resistance in a surface-mount package. The TFPT series provides accurate and stable performance for temperature compensation, control, and measurement over a wide temperature range in a variety of applications across all market segments.

The TFPT series of temperature sensors is ideal for applications requiring accuracy and stability over the life of the component. The tracking accuracy of the TFPT reduces resistance drift in extreme temperature cycling situations and allows designers to obtain precise performance with fewer components. The positive linear temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) further simplifies circuit designs and provides a more secure "failure" mode behavior (positive drift behavior will generate a higher temperature reading - auto safe behavior). TFPT temperature sensors are available in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes with either RoHS-compliant or tin/lead terminations. Multiple resistance values are available (case size dependent).
