LPC112x Microcontrollers

NXP's LPC112x are the ARM Cortex-M0-based, low-cost, 32-bit MCU family, designed for 8- and 16-bit microcontroller applications and, offering performance, low power, simple instruction set, and memory addressing, together with reduced code size compared to existing 8- and 16-bit architectures.

The LPC112x operates at CPU frequencies of up to 50 MHz. The peripheral complement of the LPC112x includes 64 kB of flash memory, 8 kB of data memory, one fast-mode plus I2C-bus interface, three RS-485 / EIA-485 UARTs, two SSP interfaces, four general purpose counter/timers, a 12-bit ADC, and up to 38 general purpose I/O pins.

Features and Benefits
  • High-performance ARM Cortex-M0 cores; up to 50 MHz
  • Memories up to: 64 KB Flash and 8 kB SRAM
  • Rich peripherals:
    • 3 USART
    • 1 I2C/Fast+
    • 2 SSP
    • Up to 38 GPIOs
  • 8 Ch, 12-bit ADC with 2 Msps
  • The reduced code size makes the MCU more efficient and better for certain applications over an 8- and 16-bit
  • Highly integrated MCU with high-performance 12-bit ADC, 3 USART, 1 I2C/Fast+ and 2 SSP
  • Single power supply(1.8 V to 3.6 V)
  • High-current output driver(20 mA)
  • Industrial temperature (-40°C to +105°C)
  • New development tool supported by LPC-Link2 for faster download and debug

Applications
  • eMetering
  • Lighting
  • Alarm systems
  • White goods
