MultiTech’s 4G-LTE SocketModem Cell embedded cellular modems are network ready-to-integrate and carrier-approved as an end device supporting AT&T, Europe, and Verizon Wireless. Key features include 4G-LTE Cat 3 100 Mbps downlink/50 Mbps uplink, fallback to HSPA+ 42/5.76 Mbps and GPRS, integrated TCP/IP stack, SMS, embedded GPS/GLONASS receiver, UFL antenna connectors, and support serial or USB interfaces.

Based on industry-standard open interfaces and utilizing MultiTech’s Universal Socket design, the SocketModem Cell enables developers to move between wireless carriers and enter new geographical markets without the need to redesign their application. MultiTech’s MTUDK2-ST-CELL developer kit is designed to work with all versions of cellular SocketModem products, allowing customers to plug in the embedded communications device and use it for testing, programming, and evaluation.
