Epson's VG7050ECN is a low-jitter fractional-n PLL which provides tuning over a range of 50 to 800 MHz with 2 ppb resolution. Power is low (< 90 mA) and integrated phase jitter is below 0.3 ps rms (12 kHz and 20 MHz). VG7050ECN uses a fundamental crystal for reliable operation, including startup at low temperatures. The VG7050ECN has four default frequencies, selectable with two pins. Frequency can be reprogrammed via I²C bus. The VG7050ECN operates from a 2.5 or 3.3 V supply and is packaged in a 7.0 mm x 5.0 mm x 1.5 mm 10-pin ceramic package. Operating temperature is -40 to +85 °C.
