XMOS' xCORE-USB family of multicore microcontrollers combines the flexibility, low-latency, and determinacy of xCORE with an integrated high-speed USB 2.0 PHY supporting 480 Mbps data-rates and USB audio class 2. Available in variants with 8, 10, 12, and 16 logical cores, the family addresses a range of demanding applications, including high-performance peripherals, audiophile consumer audio, sound-bars, multi-channel USB audio interfaces, DJ products, USB speakers, and protocol conversion plus bridging.

Additional features include a multichannel 12-bit 1 MSPS analog-to-digital converter, standby and deep-sleep modes for energy-sensitive applications, power-on reset, watchdog timer, brownout detection, and integrated oscillator circuits.

xCORE flexible multicore microcontrollers allow the user to program the mix of interfaces and functionality wanted for their design. The xCORE microcontrollers provide a level of real-time performance not seen in other embedded processors.
