CYBLE-012011-EVAL EZ-BLE™ PRoC® Evaluation Bo

Cypress Semiconductor's EZ-BLE PRoC Module is a fully integrated, fully certified, programmable, Bluetooth Smart or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module designed for ease-of-use and reducing time-to-market. It contains Cypress' PRoC BLE chip, two crystals, chip antenna, shield, and passive components. EZ-BLE PRoC Module provides a simple and low-cost way to add a microcontroller, CapSense® touch controller, and Bluetooth Smart connectivity to any system.

The CYBLE-01201x-x0 is a turnkey, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless module solution and includes onboard crystal oscillators, trace antenna, passive components, and the Cypress PRoC BLE. The CYBLE-012011-00 includes FCC/IC/KC/MIC/CE RF certification and Bluetooth SIG qualification. The CYBLE-012012-10 module does not include RF certifications or Bluetooth SIG qualification.

The CYBLE-01201x-x0 supports a number of peripheral functions (ADC, timers, counters, PWM) and serial communication protocols (I²C, UART, SPI) through its programmable architecture. The CYBLE-01201x-x0 includes 128 KB of Flash and 16 KB of SRAM.

The CYBLE-01201x-x0 includes a royalty-free BLE stack compatible with Bluetooth 4.1 and provides up to 23 GPIOs in a 14.52 mm x 19.20 mm x 2.00 mm package. The CYBLE-012011-00 is qualified with Bluetooth SIG and is certified for RF compliance with FCC, IC, CE, MIC, and KC regulatory agencies.

Easy-to-use with BLE Pioneer Kit: The CYBLE-012011-EVAL board can be used with the Bluetooth Low Energy Pioneer Kit (CY8CKIT-042-BLE) and PSoC® Creator™ to develop BLE applications. To enable easy prototyping, the evaluation board routes the GPIOs of the on-board EZ-BLE PRoC Module to the CapSense slider, RGB LED, switches, PSoC 5 LP, and FRAM on the BLE Pioneer Baseboard.

Standalone usage: The CYBLE-012011-EVAL board can also be programmed and debugged with the PSoC MiniProg3 Program and Debug Kit (CY8CKIT-002), and PSoC Creator.

Kit contents: One evaluation board (CYBLE-012011-EVAL) with on-board EZ-BLE PRoC Module (CYBLE-012011-00).
