Automotive Relays

TE Connectivity's plug in relays are high-performing relays for cross vehicle applications. TE's high-performing plug-in relays feature micro, mini, and maxi ISO relays. The plug-in relays are available in make, changeover, double-make, and bridging-make contact arrangements. A wide range of options includes latching and silent, customized and special footprints, serial and parallel components, and shrouded waterproof versions.

  • Plug-in micro ISO relays: applications include cross carline up to 30 A; for example, ABS control, blower fans, cooling fans, door controls, door locks, fuel pumps, heated front screens, immobilizers, interior lights, seat controls, seatbelt pretensioners, sunroofs, trunk locks, valves, window lifters, and wiper controls. Pin assignments according to ISO 7588 Part 3.
  • Plug-in mini ISO relays: applications include cross carline up to 40 A; for example, ABS controls, blower fans, car alarms, cooling fans, electric power steering, energy management, engine control, fuel pumps, heated front screens, lamps (front, rear, fog lights) main switch/supply relays, valves, and wiper control.
  • Plug-in maxi ISO relays: applications include typical applications cross carline up to 70 A; for example, ABS control, cooling fans, energy management, engine controls, glow plugs, heated front screens, ignitions, lamps (front, rear, fog lights), and main switch/supply relays.

TE Connectivity automotive PCB relays are miniature relays for full performance. TE's broad range of single, double, and latching PCB relays are suitable for use across multiple vehicle applications. The PCB relays are capable of switching currents up to 200 A for system voltages up to 24 V. Typical applications include central locking systems, power windows, sunroofs, interior lights, lamps (front, rear, fog), ABS control, blower and cooling fans, engine control, and fuel pumps.

TE Connectivity’s high-current relays provide increased safety connections and disconnections of vehicle batteries, start-stop systems, high-performance electrical heaters, drives and pumps for system voltages up to 48 V and currents up to 200 A. The high-current relays are compact and provide high-current switching capabilities.

TE Connectivity automotive high-voltage contactors and relays use proven technology in an innovative manner and are suited for use in hybrid, full electric, and fuel cell vehicles, as well as vehicle charging systems. These contactors enable safe disconnection and connection of the traction battery.
