Bourns' CRT-AS series sulfur-resistant thin film precision chip resistors help strengthen the already broad range of surface-mount chip resistors. The model CRT-AS series comes in four different footprints from 0402 (1005 Metric) up to 1206 (3015 Metric) and is designed to operate in harsh environments exposed to high levels of sulfur contamination. These models are suitable for use in applications such as industrial, automation, power supplies, and communication base stations.

The model CRT-AS series is made using a thin film element which is printed onto a ceramic substrate and tested in accordance with ASTM B809-95 method. Wide resistance, temperature coefficiency and tolerance options are available. This family complements the other circuit conditioning components offered by Bourns such as power inductors, rectifier diodes, and Zener diodes.
