SAM E70 ARM® Cortex®-M7 Microcontrollers

Microchip's SAM E series MCUs are based on the high-performance 32-bit ARM Cortex-M7 RISC processors with floating point unit (FPU). They operate at a maximum speed of 300 MHz and feature up to 2,048 KB of Flash, dual 16 KB of cache memory, and up to 384 KB of SRAM. Operating at 300 MHz, these high-performance SAM E70 ARM Cortex-M7 processor based MCUs score a 1500 CoreMark. IoT or Smart Energy gateways, industrial automation, and building control applications requiring a rich set of connectivity peripherals are well served with the SAM E70 series. With up to 2 MB Flash and 384 KB SRAM, the device can be optimized as a function of the system requirements while preserving HW and SW compatibility. Tightly linked peripherals manage events without CPU intervention and sleepwalking on UARTs and I2C enable power optimization. The SAM E70 series is pin compatible with the SAM4E series.
