These IP67 waterproof plug, socket crimp, and poke connectors, from EDAC, carry up to 3 A. A secure double-latch feature eliminates rocker action on the contacts and provides excellent resistance against shock and vibration. Polarized housings allow mating only one way and if it is incorrectly mated an internal notch stops the contacts from mating, preventing shorts and any contact damage. Use the optional waterproof cap to plug two ports on a five-position connector while wiring up three and it maintains an IP67 rating but will have two additional I/Os for future upgrades. Prewired assemblies in various lengths are also available.
