BMX055 Absolute Orientation Sensor and Shuttle Boa

BMX055 Absolute Orientation Sensor

Bosch Sensortec's absolute orientation sensor BMX055 is a very small, 9-axis sensor, consisting of a triaxial 12-bit acceleration sensor, a triaxial 16-bit, ±2,000°/s gyroscope, and a triaxial geomagnetic sensor. The BMX055 allows accurate measurement of angular rate, acceleration, and geomagnetic fields in three perpendicular axes within one device.

BMX055 Shuttle Board

Bosch Sensortec's BMX055 shuttle board is a PCB with a BMX055 inertial measurement unit (IMU) mounted on it. It allows easy access to the sensors pins via a simple socket. As all Bosch Sensortec sensor shuttle boards have identical footprint, they can be plugged into Bosch Sensortec's advanced development tools (for example the development board or application board). Of course, the BMX055 shuttle board can also be used for the customer's own implementations.
