P4SMAJxxADF D-FLAT 400 W TVS Diode

Diodes Incorporated introduces their 400 W TVS series which is housed in the new ultra-thin, surface-mount, D-FLAT package. This high-performance, flat-lead package is designed with low thermal resistance to provide high-power dissipation. In addition, the creepage distance has been maximized to enhance isolation between terminals against tracking. Furthermore, with a height of only 1.1 mm maximum, the D-FLAT package is also 54% thinner than the conventional SMA package to enable space-constrained designs. The P4SMAJxxADF series is comprised of 29 high-power unidirectional TVS devices, available with a large selection of reverse standoff voltages from 5 V to 85 V. These devices have excellent ESD immunity, exceeding ±30 kV IEC-61000-4-2 ESD level 4 for air and contact discharge. Additionally, with low leakage current at 1 μA for most of the range, energy efficiency is improved. These devices are ideally suited for general ESD protection in industrial applications and consumer and portable electronics. The D-FLAT package is fully green and RoHS-compliant.
