PAM8904Q Automotive 18 VPP Output Piezo Sounder Dr

An automotive compliant IC, Diodes' PAM8904Q is designed for driving a ceramic / piezo sounder or speaker with 18 VPP from a 3 V power supply.

Its programmable charge-pump boost converter operates in 1x, 2x, and 3x modes, boosting up to 9 V and switching at a fixed frequency of 1.0 MHz. Requiring a minimal number of external components, it can drive capacitive loads up to 15 nF. Its unique drive technology ensures minimal inrush current, low EMI, and high efficiency.

To maximize efficiency when there is no valid input signal, its auto-standby feature puts the PAM8904Q into sleep mode. A forced shutdown is also available.

For a more robust solution, the PAM8904Q includes over temperature shutdown, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection.

The PAM8904Q is available in a 16-pin U-QFN3030-16 package and is qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 2 supporting PPAP documents.
