ADP176x-series CMOS Linear Regulators

ADI's ADP176x are low-noise, LDO linear regulators. The ADP176x-series regulators are designed to operate from a single input supply with an input voltage as low as 1.10 V, without the requirement of an external bias supply in order to increase efficiency and provide 1 A, 2 A, and 3 A of output current. The LDO voltage allows the ADP176x-series to operate with small headroom while maintaining regulation and providing better efficiency. This family is ideal for narrow-band RF transceivers, high-speed and precision data converters, phase-locked loops (PLLs), voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs), clock generators, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA), digital-signal processors (DSPs), and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). Benefits include optimum phase noise and jitter performance, low-risk adoption, and reliable performance in RF applications, especially in ADI transceivers.
