TPS7A6650H-Q1 Low-Dropout Linear Regulator

Texas Instruments' TPS7A6650H-Q1 family is a low-dropout linear regulator designed for up to 40 VIN operations. With only 12 µA quiescent current at no load, it is quite suitable for standby microprocessor control-unit systems, especially in automotive applications.

The user can program a reset delay (using an external capacitor) on power up to indicate the output voltage is stable and in regulation as well as continuous short-circuit and over-current protection. A low-voltage tracking feature allows for a smaller input capacitor and can possibly eliminate the need of using a boost converter during cold-crank conditions.

The device operates in the -40°C to 150°C temperature range, which makes it well suited for power supplies in a wide range of applications.
