Littelfuse's SMF4L series TVS diode is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is provided in a small-footprint, flat-lead, low-profile plastic SOD-123FL package. With a board footprint of just 3.10 mm x 2.00 mm x 0.98 mm, the SMF4L series TVS Diode is in a 50 percent smaller package than a regular SMA device. Its maximum height profile of just 0.98 mm and 400 W @ 10/1000 μs peak pulse power dissipation capability allows the SMF4L series to fit neatly into transient voltage protection applications where compact design is critical.
