LinkIt™ 7697 Development Board

LinkIt 7697 is a co-designed product by Seeed Studio and MediaTek using the MediaTek MT7697 SoC and aims at providing lightweight IoT solution. The MT7697 is a highly integrated single chip featuring an application processor, a low power 1x1 11n single-band Wi-Fi subsystem, a Bluetooth subsystem, and a power management unit. The application processor subsystem contains an ARM® Cortex®-M4F MCU and many peripherals, including UART, I²C, SPI, I²S, PWM, IrDA, and auxiliary ADC. It also includes an embedded SRAM/ROM. The Wi-Fi subsystem contains 802.11b/g/n radio, baseband and MAC that are designed to meet both the low power and high throughput application requirements. It runs on a 32-bit RISC CPU that could fully offload the application processor. The Bluetooth Low Energy subsystem contains the Bluetooth radio, baseband and link controller and uses the same 32-bit RISC CPU for the Bluetooth protocols.

The board can be programmed with the native LinkIt SDK using GCC, IAR embedded workbench, or KEIL µVision®. Development with Arduino IDE is also supported via a porting layer so existing Arduino sketches and peripheral driver libraries can be used with the board.
