AKM’s AK9753AE is a low powered, compact, four channel infrared (IR) sensor module for distances of 2 m ~ 3 m. The module is composed of four quantum IR sensors and integrates signal processing for characteristic compensation, a field of view limiter, and an optical filter. It also integrates an analog-to-digital converter that provides 16-bits data outputs. The four IR sensors’ offset and gain are calibrated at shipment.

This sensor has the same pin out as the AK9750, making it compatible for longer sensing distance from the same board. The AK9753AE was designed for security and energy saving applications.
