Microchip's MCP6001 and MCP6002 series of op amps offer a low-cost solution suitable for general purpose applications such as signal amplification, sensor buffer, and driving an analog-to-digital converter. These are single-output general purpose op amps offering rail-to-rail input and output over the 1.8 V to 6 V operating range. These amplifiers have a typical GBWP of 1 MHz that offer competitive bandwidth at a quiescent current of 100 microamperes. For example, MCP600X devices have a high phase margin which makes them ideal for capacitive load applications. These devices are available in a SC-70, DIP, SOIC, MSOP, and SOT-23 IC packages and have three different pin outs. The low supply voltage, low quiescent current, and wide bandwidth makes the MCP600X family ideal for battery-powered and IoT applications.
