ADI’s HMC43x series are a line of frequency dividers, counters, and prescalers. The HMC432, HMC433, HMC437, and HMC438 are low noise static frequency dividers (prescalers) designed with InGaP GaAs HBT technology. These devices divide by two, four, three, and five, respectively. The HMC432 and HMC433 both operate at DC to 8 GHz input frequency and use a +3 V supply at 53 mA; they come in a SOT26 package. The HMC437 and HMC438 dividers have frequency ranges of DC to 7 GHz and take a +5 V input at 80 mA. These devices come in a MS8G package. These devices offer good system noise performance of 153 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz. The HMC432, HMC433, HMC434, HMC437, and HMC438 are designed for 3G/4G cellular infrastructure of base stations, repeaters, and VSAT applications.
