Murata Electronics has introduced the XRCTD series timing crystal in an industry leading compact 1210 SMD size in a sealed metal package; ideally suited as a reference clock for small wireless communications devices and modules. Utilizing Murata's original packaging technology has enabled Murata to bring to the industry a 0.30 mm package thickness enabling design engineers to incorporate a very low profile crystal timing unit into their new designs.

Electrically the 37.4 MHz XRCTD series crystal has low ESR of 60 Ω maximum with a total frequency tolerance of ±20 ppm maximum over a temperature range of -30°C to +85°C to provide a very stable, highly reliable timing solution.
