Bluetooth Low Energy Front-End Module

Skyworks' SKY66114-11, is a fully integrated RF front-end module designed for Bluetooth Low Energy, 802.15.4, and Zigbee applications. This device integrates a high-gain LNA and high-efficiency saturated PA, along with digital controls compatible with 1.6 V to 3.6 V CMOS levels. The SKY66114-11 is designed to increase the RF output of a SoC radio while reducing the overall current consumption making it perfect for Internet of Things (IoT) applications where longer battery life is needed. The SKY66114-11 is also crucial for increasing the range of a Bluetooth device by extending range more than 4x compared to a standalone SoC solution and has up to 7 dB sensitivity improvement compared to a standalone SoC. The SKY66114-11 FEM has been designed into reference designs with products from Silicon Labs, NXP, and Texas Instruments.
