LTC’s LT1761 series are low noise, micropower low dropout (LDO) regulators. With an external 0.01 μF bypass capacitor, output noise drops to 20 μVRMS over a 10 Hz to 100 kHz bandwidth. Designed for use in battery-powered systems such as smartphones, handhelds, and test equipment, the low 20 μA quiescent current makes them an ideal choice. These regulators are capable of operating over an input voltage from 1.8 V to 20 V, and can supply 100 mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 300 mV. The devices are available in fixed output voltages of 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2 V, 2.5 V, 2.8 V, 3 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V, and as adjustable devices with a 1.22 V reference voltage. The LT1761 regulators come in wide operating temperature ranges of -40°C to +125°C and -55°C to +125°C, and are available in a TSOT-23 package.
