MIKROE-1362 IrThermo Click™ Board

The MIKROE-1362 IrThermo Click from MikroElektronika features the MLX90614ESF-AAA single zone infrared thermometer module capable of non-contact temperature measurements. It is calibrated in wide temperature ranges of -40°C to +85°C for the ambient temperature and -70°C to +380°C for the object temperature (-20°C to +120°C in PWM mode). IrThermo Click communicates with target board microcontroller via mikroBUS™ I2C lines (SCL, SDA) or PWM line. These features make this board ideal for automotive, industrial temperature control, movement detection, air conditioning control, and more. The board is designed to use 5 V power supply only.

Melexis' MLX90614 is a non-contact digital infrared temperature thermometer. The IR sensitive thermopile detector chip and the signal-conditioning ASIC are housed together in a -20°C to +120°C TO-39 package. The sensor has a low-noise amplifier, 17-bit ADC, and powerful DSP unit. The MLX90614 comes factory calibrated with a digital SMBus output, giving full access to the measured temperature in the complete temperature range(s) with a resolution of 0.02°C. The MLX90614 is ideal for automotive, medical, and industrial applications.
