XENSIV™ Acoustic Sensors

Infineon’s XENSIV silicon microphone IM69D is a digital high performance MEMS microphone with 105 dB dynamic range and an output signal with high linearity, based in Infineon’s dual backplate MEMS technology. Microphones are no longer a limiting factor for active noise cancellation headphones.  XENSIV silicon microphone IM69D in such systems enables effective noise attenuation, clear reference audio signal, and low frequency noise cancellation.

Features
  • 69 dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio
  • Less than 1 percent distortion at 128 dB SPL (130 dB SPL AOP)
  • Digital (PDM) interface with 6 µs group delay at 1 kHz
  • Tight sensitivity (-36 ±1 dB) and phase (±2°) tolerances
  • 28 Hz low frequency roll-off
  • 980 µA current consumption (300 µA in low power mode)
Applications
  • Active noise cancellation for headphone systems
