MEAN WELL’s DR-15, DR-30, DR-60, and DR-100 series, the first-generation plastic housing step shape DIN rail power supply by MEAN WELL, is widely used in building automation and household control systems due to its Class II isolation level. To continuously provide its customers with smaller and more efficient Class II step shape DIN rail power supplies, MEAN WELL has developed the HDR-15, HDR-30, and HDR-60 series.

The HDR family features step shape plastic housing, accepts 85 V_AC to 264 V_AC input (277 V_AC available), and provides complete models (5 V/12 V/15 V/24 V/48 V). Moreover, HDR family specially adopts the European Union standard DIN EN43880 and slim design. The heights are all 90 mm and the widths are only 1 SU to 4 SU (17.5 mm/35 mm/52.5 mm/70 mm), respectively, and offer low no-load power consumption (<0.3 W), high working efficiency (up to 91%), adjustable DC output voltage, wide working temperature range (-30°C to +70°C) characteristics. The entire HDR family is rated Class II isolation level, passing LPS (limited power source), conforming to EN61000-3-2 Class A (the norm the European Union regulates for harmonic current), and compliant with complete safety regulations (UL60950-1, UL508, and EN61558-2-16). The HDR family is well-suited to building automation, household control systems, industrial control systems, and the electro-mechanical apparatuses due to its features, complete model line, and adherence to safety regulations while maintaining competitive prices.
