LTC5553 Series Microwave Mixer

Linear Technology/Analog Devices’ LTC5553 is a 3 GHz to 20 GHz high performance, microwave double balanced passive mixer. This mixer can be used for frequency upconversion or downconversion. The device includes an integrated LO amplifier optimized for the 1 GHz to 20 GHz frequency range, requiring only 0 dBm drive. The integrated IF balun is optimized to cover a very wide 500 MHz to 9 GHz frequency range while providing a single-ended 50 Ω interface.

The LTC5553 delivers exceptionally high IIP3 and P1dB, in addition to low LO to RF and LO to IF leakages. The mixer comes in a small 12-pin DFN package that has a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The LTC5553 is an ideal RF mixer for cellular, microwave, and backhaul applications.
