High-Current Photorelays

Toshiba adds five photorelays ranging from 30 V to 200 V and 0.7 A to 5.0 A that are suitable for various DC and AC applications. This series of photorelays utilizes Toshiba's state-of-the-art U-MOSVIII process technology MOSFET to improve system reliability and reduce board space since separate relay drivers are not needed. TLP3543A, TLP3545A, and TLP3546A come in a DIP6 package, TLP3556A and TLP3558A are available in a DIP4 package. Gull wing (SMD) and wide creepage options are also available. All five high-current photorelays deliver a rated operating temperature of +110°C (maximum). To improve design safety, they all provide a rated transient on-state current three times larger than the rated steady on-state current. Toshiba's high-current photorelays are an excellent choice for applications such as industrial equipment (PLC, I/O interface, contact output), building automation systems (HVAC, thermostats), semiconductor testers, and security equipment, as well as other applications.
