Trenz Electronic's TE0728 is an SoC module integrating a Xilinx automotive Zynq-7020, 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM with 16-bit width, 16 MB Flash memory for configuration and operation, two 100 Mb Ethernet transceivers, and powerful switch-mode power supplies for all on-board voltages. A large number of configurable I/Os are provided via rugged high-speed stacking strips. The Zynq-7000 SoC used on the TE0728 board integrates the software programmability of an Arm®-based processor with the hardware programmability of an FPGA, enabling key analytics and hardware acceleration while integrating CPU, DSP, ASSP, and mixed-signal functionality on a single device. Within the complete module, only automotive components are installed. All this in a compact 6 cm x 6 cm form factor. Depending on the customer design, additional cooling might be required. The latest documentation, design support files, and reference designs with source files are available for download free of charge.
All modules produced by Trenz Electronic are developed and manufactured in Germany.
