Io Audio Technologies connectors are excellent options for both audio and lighting applications. They are designed for solid digital audio connections such as digital snakes, AES50, and MADI formats, as well as lighting protocols such as DMX 512 and ArtNet. There are two different connector options for space-saving strain relief. The IO-EC-L model offers lower profile strain relief for tight spaces and features a twist-off zinc shell that reveals an RJ45 connector inside the housing so that the connector can be used with standard networking equipment. The IO-EC-X model offers longer and sturdier strain relief to protect the cable from exceeding its bend radius. Both connectors are compatible with standard etherCON® wall receptacles. The simple and dependable locking mechanism prevents the connections from coming loose, even in demanding environments. Both housings have quick and easy no-tool assembly.
