WE-LS Conductive Foam

Wurth Electronics' WE-LS is a rubbery, non-elastic foam made of polyolefin material doped with nickel-copper (NiCu) particles. The result is a soft, malleable soft shield with excellent conductivity, low resistivity, and good tensile strength that can be used to block broadband radiated noise. It can be stamped or cut to very precise tolerances to fit custom enclosures, seams, or surfaces. Moreover, WE-LS is thin and easy to apply. It can be ordered with an industrial grade adhesive backing. The WE-LS is most effective to shield noise from 1 KHz to about 3 GHz provided that is properly grounded. It has an effective operating temperature of -20°C to 85°C.
