LTC7810 Dual 2-Phase Step-Down DC/DC Controller

Power by Linear / Analog Devices’ LTC7810 is a high performance dual step-down DC/DC switching regulator controller. This controller drives all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages that can operate from voltages up to 140 V. A constant frequency current mode architecture allows a phase-lockable frequency of up to 720 kHz. The low no-load quiescent current extends operating run time in battery-powered systems. The controller features a precision 1 V reference, enabling the output voltage to be programmed from 1 V to 60 V. The gate drive voltage for the LTC7810 can be programmed to 6 V, 8 V, or 10 V to allow the use of logic-level or standard-threshold FETs and to maximize efficiency. This device has additional features of spread spectrum operation which significantly reduces the peak radiated and conducted noise on both the input and output supplies, making it easier to comply with electromagnetic interference (EMI) standards. The LTC7810 is ideal for industrial, telecom, and transportation solutions.
