EFR32™ Flex Gecko Sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz Proprietary

Silicon Labs' EFR32™ Flex Gecko wireless SoCs combine an energy-friendly MCU with a highly integrated radio supporting sub-GHz and 2.4 GHz proprietary wireless protocols. The single-die solution provides industry-leading energy efficiency, ultra-fast wake-up times, a scalable power amplifier, and an integrated balun.

These SoCs are ideal for proprietary modulation schemes including OOK, shaped FSK, shaped OQPSK, DSSS modulation techniques, and FEC. The devices are supported with SDKs including an intuitive radio abstraction interface layer (RAIL) and a connect stack to accelerate proprietary protocol development. The Flex Gecko is footprint-compatible with the Mighty Gecko and Blue Gecko, providing a migration path to multi-protocol applications that require the addition of BLE, Zigbee®, or Thread.

These dual-band wireless starter kits include a complete hardware evaluation platform including Flex Gecko dual-band radio boards, an onboard J-link debugger, an advanced energy monitor for real-time current and voltage monitoring, and access to the packet trace interface (PIT).
