By NXP Semiconductors 90
Utilized with several Cortex® A7 and A9 single- and dual-core application processors, NXP Semiconductors' PF3001 power management IC (PMIC) powers the core processor, external memory, and peripherals to provide a single-chip system power solution. PF3001 integrates three programmable buck voltage regulators and six linear regulators from a 2.8 V to 5.5 V input voltage. With on-chip, one-time programmable (OTP) memory, it is available in a pre-programmed standard version for i.MX 6UL, 6ULL, 6SL, 6SX, and i.MX 7S system support, or a non-programmed version to support custom start-up sequence. Compatibility with these i.MX applications processors is shown in multiple reference designs with associated SW board support packages and facilitates software controlled, dynamic voltage scaling. For low power mode applications, NXP's PF3000 product variant is also available with specific low power state.
