NXP’s S08PL series gives user designs more durability and reliability in harsh industrial and user interface environments. It leverages the enhanced HCS08 central processor and is available with a variety of peripherals, memory sizes, and types. Featuring an 8-bit S08 core, the S08PL MCUs reach up to 20 MHz bus at 2.7 V to 5.5 V across an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C offering flexibility and reliability in home appliances and consumer electronic applications.

    • Supports up to 40 interrupt/reset sources and up to four-level nested interrupt
    • Up to 60 KB Flash read/program/erase over full operating voltage and temperature
    • Up to 256-byte EEPROM; 2-byte erase sector; program and erase while executing Flash
    • Up to 4096-byte random-access memory (RAM)
