AK9754AE IR Sensor

AKM Semiconductor’s AK9754AE is an ultra-small, ultra-low power, short-range quantum IR sensor with signal processing circuits and human approach detection algorithms. The IR sensor can detect a human approach and outputs a signal from interrupt pins. An analog-to-digital converter (ADC) provides 16-bits data outputs. The sensor can detect humans by using the human-approach detection algorithm.

Features
  • Quantum-type IR sensor
  • 16-bits digital outputs to I2C bus
  • Integrated digital filters:
    • IR sensor: cut-off frequency 0.9 Hz, 0.445 Hz
    • Temperature sensor: cut-off frequency 0.9 Hz, 0.445 Hz
      • Only with 10 Hz of data output rate (ODR)
  • I2C interface:
    • Supports standard-mode (100 Hz) and fast modes (400 Hz)
      • Pull-up resistors must be connected to the same level as the power supply of the AK9754
