Critical Link’s MitySOM-335x modules use Texas Instruments' Sitara AM335x processors. The MitySOM-335x is a production-ready board-level solution that delivers industrial performance and includes a range of configurations to fit user requirements.

These modules include NAND FLASH and DDR2 or DDR3 RAM memory subsystems that provide a complete and flexible CPU infrastructure for highly integrated embedded systems.

The onboard AM335x processor provides the Cortex-A8 32-bit RISC processor with a NEON SIMD coprocessor and an optional 3D graphics accelerator. This MPU is capable of running a rich set of real-time operating systems containing software APIs expected by modern system designers. The Arm architecture supports several operating systems, including Linux.

The MitySOM-335x supports several upgrade options including various speed grades, memory configurations, and operating temperature specifications including commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
